Thanks for stopping by.
Growing up in southern North Carolina, I was always on the move and rarely afraid to get my hands dirty. My first love was the performing arts, found within the historic walls of Thalian Hall in my hometown, where I learned to fill a space with my voice and hold an audience’s attention. But the moment I picked up my first camera, I knew it was game over. What started onstage began to live behind and within the lens, and I took my theatrical-projecting voice and began applying it to film.
Community theater taught me how to be heard; film taught me how to listen. As I fell deeper into filmmaking, I became fascinated by how stories are told, from the quiet moments between characters to the way light, sound, and editing shape emotion. That curiosity led me to Ringling College of Art and Design, where I have just earned my BFA in Film with a minor in Photography and Imaging. While I’ve spent time in every department on set, I feel most at home directing, writing, behind a camera, and strengthening stories in post through editing and sound design. My background in acting continues to inform my work as a director, allowing me to connect with actors and guide emotionally honest performances.
No matter the role, I give my all to the projects I work on. Collaboration is at the heart of my process, and I’m drawn to stories that challenge me, move me, and linger long after they end. I love telling stories, and if you’ve made it this far, thank you for listening to this one.
